Homeschool in contextul Coronavirus

Suntem intr-o situatie fara precedent, in care ne vedem obligati sa accesam tot felul de platforme de scoala-la-distanta.
Toata treaba asta a cazut peste invatatori, profesori, studenti, elevi fara avertizare si fara a putea fi planuita cumva.
Probabil tot internet-ul e deja plin de sfaturi si ghid-uri de practica, imi dau si eu cu parea mea de 2 bani.
Vreau sa spun din start ca am interactionat cu Google Classroom pana in acest moment si am experienta numai cu copiii de scoala primara.

Treburile par simple: invatatorii/profesorii pregatesc conturi pentru elevi, fiecare isi creaza contul si intra in acest spatiu numit Google Classroom, de unde se pot inscrie la cursuri (folosind coduri de acces generate tot de profesori). Pana aici totul ok, unii parinti au avut ceva probleme dar nu cred ca sunt blocaje.

Cateva neajunsuri constatate:
 - materialele apar putin cam tarziu pe platforma
 - ele sunt in variate formate: formulare, prezentari PowerPoint, video, documente, etc.
 - am vazut formulare in format doc, problema e felul in care se poate face completarea lui (am vazut cazuri in care se completeaza printat si se retrimite poza)
 - la prezentari sunt sanse ca in cazul in care acestea au continut audio/video sa nu fie vazut de elev decat daca este incarcat in anumite programe
 - unele documente nu sunt formatate bine si apar destul de diferit cand sunt incarcate in diverse programe (Word, Google Docs, Libre Office, etc)

Ca parinte este putin frustrant sa te asiguri ca orice continut prezent in GClassroom ajunge sa fie vizualizat de elev. Problemele scaleaza cu numarul de copii gospodarie.

As da cateva sugestii pentru a bulversa cat mai putin copiii/parintii si pe oricine altcineva implicat in acest proces (sa fim seriosi copiii de scoala primara au educatie formala in acest sens ce tinde spre zero).
Daca tot suntem pe produse Google haideti sa nu mai folosim alte programe pentru a crea continut, astfel (nu m-au sponsorizat sa scriu asta dar oricum GClassroom face parte din GSuite)

• pentru formulare avem https://www.google.com/forms/about/
• pentru prezentari avem https://www.google.com/slides/about/ 
• pentru documente avem https://www.google.com/docs/about/
• pentru schite, memorymaps, grafice avem https://gsuite.google.com/products/jamboard/
• pentru documente care contin formule matematice, caractere speciale as recomanda (cu riscul de a fi hulit) https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaTeX , da are o curba de invatare, dar apoi orice document, din orice domeniu, va fi realizat mai usor decat intr-un WYSIWYG (Word, etc);
• exista o sumedenie de editoare, acesta pare o alegere interesanta pentru ca nu trebuie instalat https://www.overleaf.com/ (nu l-am testat)

In incheiere vreau sa precizez ca nu am vrut sa critic pe nimeni, doar sa ajut.

Prototip pentru joculet

Am inceput un joculet...

Ideea e sa iasa un joc educativ in limba romana pentru prescolari, o sa incerc sa ii invat literele din alfabet, cifre, etc. Deocamdata trebuie sa hotaram povestea (o implic si pe Teo in asta, avem nevoie si de artisti :P). Cred ca o sa fie ceva gen: o omida care vrea sa citeasca o carte depre fluturi!

Mi-ar placea sa aflu cat de bine ar fi primita ideea asta de catre voi, ca sa stiu daca merita sa ma mai muncesc, deci va rog comentati!

Control Robot Arm Remotely from the browser

My first Arduino project...
It's more like a proof of concept, it still has quite a few bugs, but would be a good starting point for anyone who needs to control and Arduino board from the web.

All the code is here. Beware that there isn't much error handling neither in the python server code nor on the client java-script side.



I wanted to explore a bit the Arduino platform and got my self a Robotic Arm having 5 servos. First I made a small desktop application ( available with the rest of the code), then it crossed my mind to step forward and build an Android app to be able to control it from my phone/tablet, but this web approach seemed a good idea to provide access to Arduino from any device capable of running a browser ( new generation ).

I have used an old floppy disk cable because I am really bad at soldering and my own cable, ( 5 + 2 wires) would have never done the job.

Here is the "beautiful" user interface.
